5 haiku 12
The plan is to start
over breakfast with champagne
in our orange juice.
At some point move on,
when the liquor stores open,
to something stronger.
There will probably
be a nap time later on
so we can recoup.
Eventually
I want to be two-fisting
when the ball comes down.
Alcohol, it says,
may intensify effect.
