5 haiku 25
Wearing my glasses
is like rose-painting nothing,
so I slept all day.
I woke up two times
to medicate sick kittens
with an eyedropper.
Sleeping on the couch
is like giving the finger
to my day off work.
By the time I had
coffee everything had closed
except the flowers.
Drinking this stuff black
is like dredging the river.
Memorial Day.
