I've been punched out two,
no, three, no, four times, maybe,
and I deserved it
each time and maybe
also some of the times I
did the punching out.
In spite of this, when
I sit down to write at night,
I will still insist
I am a lover
who loves a fighter who is
also a lover
who loves a fighter
who thinks she is amazing.
