At your door right now
there is a man still waiting
until you come home.
There is a bench there.
I'm sure you are well aware,
tucked away from rain.
The man will sit there
for at least another hour.
He is not angry.
There are things, somethings
and thing-things weighing on him.
He wants to tell you.
You will stay in bed
for at least an hour before
you peek a third time.
