The subtitle for today's entry should be "I Got Blistahs on Mah Fingahs!"

Today I arranged with my new employer to work from home to save myself the hour or so of walking to and from work and also to give myself the time during the day to record in case I needed to make noise before the neighbors call it a night. I did my actual work for work after it was quiet for the evening, after I'd eaten dinner and after I had stared at Sonar for so long that I just had to have a break.

I recorded a lot of stuff today. I was doing my best to get everything I could on tape so the only remaining things to do are to sort through takes and mix things. I've still got a few things to record, but the next couple days are going to see me spending more time on the computer editing and mixing than picking up instruments or singing, so that's good. It's a kind of winding down.

I do have to go in to work tomorrow, so I won't get to work again until the evening, but I'm not quite done for today, so I'm going to keep plugging away until I have to catch a few hours of sleep before I hike to work in the morning.

It snowed a little today here in Portland. That was surprising and kind of neat even if it was only a paltry amount of snow.
