sunlight slowly fills
two wine glasses of soda
lying next to you
outside it's snowing
little designs above you
in the fog we made
I do remember
to say sorry for those things
that I cannot fix
I am now used to
the brief morning silences
just before you rise
there's just enough time
that I now silently thank
