5 haiku 204
for a tiny foiler
I am grateful in
and satisfied in the way
that swells in my breast.
I am humbled in
and impressed in the manner
of youthful students.
I am assured of
and discovering in me
new sanguine patience.
The news curls up like
the tongue of a cat mid-yawn,
your laugh and success.
I am spirited
away in the way you foiled
my heart long ago.
