The truth is that he
never tried three bean salad
though he could spell it.
He needed something
to say in a love letter,
wit without the depth.
Later he would say
it was planned to disarm her,
truth is it was luck.
Hoy Three Bean Salad
she argued that it should have
been capitalized.
It later became
a boon, they had a salad
that wasn't just leaves.
