As soon as the sun went down my neighborhood erupted with airborne explosions. At least two or three folks within a couple blocks of my place have clearly invested in some of the high grade fireworks.

I went outside for a while to find a place where I could see over the trees. There wasn't a particularly good spot to look from, but I saw some of the higher flying bursts from the corner. I waited around until I saw two nice green ones and then went back into the apartment. Green is my favorite.

When I came back, I had to find Fräulein Blau to give her her evening medicine. It took me a while to find her. Turned out she was just lying in the bathroom because it's a little cooler in there. I found the Professor under the bed though. It seems he's very spooked by the explosions out there.

Note that I lifted up the bed skirt to take this picture. Professor von Tuft was completely obscured before I started poking around with my camera.
