5 haiku 274
Having never been
alone on cross country trains,
I wouldn't pretend.
Still, the idea
that there's a great deal of peace
feels quite plausible.
I am assuming
it is required that one not
be in a hurry.
Having been on trains,
though not alone, I do know
they tend to be late.
Perhaps tomorrow,
after I've had my coffee,
I'll buy a ticket.
