5 haiku 280
They hang clothes out there
to dry between buildings high.
This we called "simple."
They do not have wells,
as they are not that simple.
We heard a guitar.
Down a small side-street
we peered below those hangings.
A man fast asleep.
We counted twelve birds
on a line above our heads.
Two more in a bush.
I had made a point
not to bring a camera.
You've forgiven me.
