7 haiku 27
Wallowing alone
stops being solitary
and manipulates.
What an exercise
in gratuitous whining
"for no audience."
Yet celebration
should not be put to one side
like the salad fork.
Speculating 'son,
had we had the feast first, so
leftovers remain?
A different menu
offers different dessert or
still means different spoils.
Grandpa's kick connects
because Grandpa understands
prodigality.
You can yet climb up,
napkins still stuffed at your necks,
holding unwashed hands.
