Stuff You Might Have Missed.

7 haiku 37

for a poor listener who tries

Among us are wolves.
Men and women disguised as
sheep disguised as wolves.

You have been a wolf.
You are still, in fact, a wolf.
This is obvious.

You believe yourself,
and yet you believe yourself
now a former wolf.

The wolf relies on
what the sheep accepts: You are
neither, and yet both.

There appears to be
some value in knowing your
own wool is enough.

(Whether it protects
you from elements or is
made others' blanket)

Do wolves become sheep?
What is "former wolf" about?
You believe yourself.
