7 haiku 49
In wishing me luck,
always careful about words,
they'd say "break a leg."
Inability
to be understood does not
make one an artist.
(I pompously said,
as she slept in the back seat
through West Virginia.)
To make something up
is to risk discovering
what it is you know.
The initial spark,
let's say it's only a word,
is irrelevant.
The explanation,
equally irrelevant,
whether forced or not.
That said, I believe
the purpose, attached or not,
is significant.
