poetic justice.
How many verses
turned common turned in a way
turned Bartlett's Poseur?
I had by this time
learned to recognize my own
was not Hemingway's.
It bears repeating:
There are some books you can't read
without other books.
One covers his eyes,
one his ears and one his mouth,
all monkeys, typing.
Be proud of your shelves.
The Bedford Companion should
sit beside Shakespeare.
